The Flood:
Friday my Dad went to work. We had to follow Mrs. Seevers to Glouster on an old road. We thought that Dad couldn't get home. But he did. William Foughty
The Flood
When the water was on the road, we had to walk everywhere. We could not go anywhere because of the water on the bridge. Even though we live on a big hill, the water got in our yard. Kevin Sanders

We were flooded on the street that I live on. We weren't allowed to play outside. It was fun in the house though, we played school. Tracy Talbert

Our Baby Rabbit
My dad found a baby rabbit at Lake Carry-Out. We had it for two and a half days. On a Sunday afternoon our baby rabbit died. Russell J. Higgins.
My Dad
When my dad was a little boy he went to a place to go swimming. The place had a dam. He fell backwards. He had to get 16 stitches in the back of his head. David Parker
At My Girl Friend's
At my girlfriend's we rode a pony. His name is Pee Wee. He is black and white. We rode him all day. Then we played with the kittens. Lori Brafford
My Dog
My dog is 9 years old and she had 2 puppies, Nip and Pip. We are going to keep them. Kathy Sarina
The Great Game
California's Tom Tresh, the second baseman, let the ball go right past him for Larry Green to come in, from third to win the game for Detroit. The score was 2-1 in ten innings. Greg Holbert
The Flood
Friday the water was high. Daddy went to work and did not come back. Then mommy was real worried, then Daddy came back, and I'm glad! Sandra Mitchell
My Grandma
The water got in my Grandma's store. It made a bump in the floor. My Grandma tripped over the bump and broke her arm. Brenda Russell
The Big Flood
Friday May 24, 1968, there was a big flood. My dad rode through and pushed some cars out. Then he took me to a store that was moved out in the middle of the road. Mark Trace

My Daddy promised me he would take me camping when the ground got dry. I would like to go fishing while we are camping. Mark Seevers
My Accident
I fell down and cut my hand. Then a man wrapped my hand up and took me home. My Mom took me to the doctor. He put stitches in my hand. Randy Dearing
