Mrs. James Jones-Woman Dies on Sunday at home in Orbiston.  Was Mother of Fourteen children.  Mrs. James Jones age 63, died Sunday night.  Her husband died about eleven years ago.  She was the mother of fourteen children.  Four died in early childhood and one son William, three years ago.  She leaves six daughters and three sons, Mrs. John Booth of Akron, Mrs. Henry Crasner and Mrs. William Wallace of Columbus, Mrs. John Betts of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Fred Schweinsberger and Miss Amelia Jones of Orbiston, David Jones of Columbus, William of Nelsonville and Morgan of Guysville.  Aug. 29, 1927 Athens Messenger

This list was read by the author, there may be some errors in spellings of the names. I did the best I could to read them, but as anyone who has ever read the census knows, it can be a difficult job. Many of the names are the names in the area today and were very familiar to me, but others are names of persons who moved out of the area and may have been misread by me. Anyone with any doubts should feel free to double check the Orbiston, Ward township, Hocking county census for 1920. This is also a partial reading of the entire district.
